Our Impact

We match compassion with action and innovation

The Turnaround Institute (TAI) was born of the radical belief that brands can both maximize profit and be a force for social good. Profitability and responsibility can and must go hand in hand. The pursuit of profit must blend seamlessly with the pursuit of the common good, including the creation of both environmental and social benefits for all of the stakeholders. This may be a challenging thing to do, but it is the best way to do things and we are completely committed to playing our part in making a big difference for the world. Problems. The ones that go unattended the most. The ones deemed too big to solve. We go looking for them and we innovate a suitable solution.

“Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t, so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.”

Unemployment is one of the core challenges facing the African population. Kenya being a young country constitutes a major segment of its population being the youth. Majority are finding themselves educated yet unemployed. The Turnaround Institute (TAI) is committed to creating and measuring lasting impact to this problem.

We believe that entrepreneurship has the power to unlock and activate untapped human potential into a successful opportunity for quality living.

If successfully harnessed, entrepreneurship has the potential to aggressively speed up individual and economic growth in a region.
